Jean Gordon is the Director of the European Institute of Education and Social Policy (Paris) (www.eiesp.org) which she joined in 1989.
She has wide experience in the comparison & analysis of education policies & systems, and in contributing to lifelong learning opportunities & personal development through improving access to learning and its recognition, individualising pathways and increasing transparency of learning and qualifications in Europe. She has undertaken many Europe-wide studies, including for the EU Commission, and in 2008-2009 she was one of the authors of a 27 country study for DG Education: Key Competences in Europe: Opening doors for lifelong learners across the school curriculum and teacher education. Jean has undertaken projects in the EU Member States, the candidate countries as well as in the Western Balkans, the MEDA countries and also in Central Asia.
She is Joint Editor of the European Journal of Education for which she has designed and/or coordinated issues on the futures of learning, education and well-being, intercultural dialogue, equal opportunities, internationalisation of education, qualifications frameworks, access to lifelong learning, etc. She coordinates the European Operations for Universal Education Foundation of which EIESP is an operational partner and the Secretariat for the Consortium of foundations, ‘Learning for Well-being’.

Gloria Arjomand is Project Coordinator at the EIESP which she joined in 2009.
She has worked in the non-profit sector in the domains of public information and education. She has been involved for several years in Canada and France in a neighbourhood-based educational program aimed at strengthening literacy, decision-making and community-service skills among young people. Gloria has a Masters degree in Social Policy and Planning from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and her dissertation focused on researching the effects of participatory projects in the school environment. She completed her Bachelor's degree at York University, Toronto in Political Science and International Studies. Gloria is fluent in both English and French.

Christina Keyes joined the Institute in 1996 as Assistant Editor to the European Journal of Education.
She worked for many years at the International Association of Universities where she collaborated on the Bulletin of the Association. Moreover, she prepared chapters for UNESCO's World Guide to Higher Education, wrote several chapters for the Encyclopaedia of Higher Education, edited by Burton Clark and Guy Neave and published by Pergamon Press in the United Kingdom, and collaborated on the World Academic Database, published by Macmillan.
Christina KEYES obtained a Maîtrise d'Anglais at the University Paris VII and a Licence d'Histoire de l'Art at the University Paris I, as well as an admissibilité to the CAPES. She is fluent in French, English with working knowledge of Spanish.

Hauda is currently undertaking research for a Doctorat on: "Le rôle de la Formation Continue dans le développement des compétences des enseignants" at the Université de Paris Est.

Following her internship at the EIESP, she undertook an internship at CEDEFOP and then returned to Slovakia to take up a post in the Ministry of Education. Since 2008 she has been working in the Education, Audiovisual & Culture Executive Agency ( Brussels ) in the Eurydice unit (Eurydice provides information and analyses of European education systems and policies).

Following his stage at the EIESP, he taught at the University of Maastricht and since August 2006 he has been working for Wales Higher Education in Brussels .
