About Our Journal
In 2025, EIESP will launch its new journal, the European Journal of Education Policy & Practice, on an Open Access platform (published by Amsterdam University Press). This peer-reviewed journal will be thematic and will focus on international and comparative education policy for lifelong learning in Europe and beyond. In line with the principles of Open Science, it will bring together contributors with a high level of expertise in research, policy, and practice.
The editorial board and the editorial correspondents of the journal bring an international perspective in the different domains of research and policy analysis for lifelong learning. The Chair of the editorial board is Gábor Halász, an internationally respected scholar from the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, ELTE University, Hungary (Professor Emeritus). The joint editors are Jean-Claude Ruano-Borbalan (professor at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers – CNAM ,France), and Janet Looney (Director, EIESP).
